Florida State Seminoles starting QB for Week 9: Who is Mike Norvell's QB1 for game against Miami?

The Florida State Seminoles (1-6) will square off against the No. 6 Miami Hurricanes (7-0) in Week 9 of the 2024 college football season. Saturday's game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Who is Florida State's starting QB vs. Miami?

Florida State has confirmed that Brock Glenn will start as its quarterback against Miami in Week 9 on Saturday. The signal-caller has struggled to lead the Seminoles' offense following DJ Uiagalelei's finger injury in Week 5.

Glenn has completed 32 of 64 passes for 338 yards and thrown two touchdowns, with three interceptions since stepping in for Uiagalelei. He has also added 62 rushing yards on 14 carries in three appearances for Florida State.

Glenn, who started against Duke in Week 8, was briefly replaced by Luke Kromenhoek in the Seminoles' 23-16 defeat on Friday after throwing three turnovers in three snaps. However, Glenn returned in the second half.

FSU coach Mike Norvell is putting his trust in Glenn to lead the team's offense once again on Saturday. Kromenhoek will serve as his backup this weekend.

It's still unclear when Uigalelei will return to the fray for FSU.
