It was a largely disappointing season for Florida State in 2024. The Seminoles finished with a 2-10 record, a fall no one would have anticipated for the ACC defending champions before the start of the season.

The goal for Mike Norvell and the Seminoles in 2025 is to get back on track. There’s a lot of work being put into that within the program, including coaching staff changes.

The roster is also witnessing significant changes, with a good number of playing taking the exit door. Here’s a look at the Florida State players who have entered the transfer portal.

#1 Patrick Payton, DE

Payton entered the 2024 season poised to step into a starring role as FSU's lead edge rusher following Jared Verse's departure to the NFL. However, that didn't materialize, and he has decided to continue his football journey at another program.

#2 Destyn Hill, WR

Hill appeared in 10 games for the Seminoles in 2023 and showed promise for a starting role in 2024. Unfortunately, a preseason injury sidelined him for the season, interrupting his ascent within the program. His delayed college football career is now set to continue outside Tallahassee.

#3 Omar Graham Jr., LB

Graham started eight games for Florida State in 2024. He demonstrated potential and consistency, positioning himself as a strong contender for a starting role in 2025.

However, he has decided to enter the transfer portal in a bid to explore other opportunities to continue his development and impact on the field.

#4 Darion Williamson, WR

Williamson spent five seasons at Florida State, becoming a consistent part of the wide receiver rotation.

During his time in Tallahassee, he demonstrated reliability and versatility, contributing to the team's offensive efforts. However, Williamson wants to spend his remaining one year of eligibility elsewhere in the landscape.

#5 Omarion Cooper, DB

Omarion Cooper returned to Florida State ahead of the 2024 college football season following a one-year stint at Colorado. He began in Tallahassee in 2022 before teaming up with Deion Sanders in Boulder. He's now set to find a new home elsewhere in the realm.

#6 Luke Kromenhoek, QB

Kromenhoek had his starting opportunity in the last games of the 2024 season amid significant offensive struggles. He was expected to compete for the starting quarterback role next season. However, he has decided to move on from Tallahassee and continue elsewhere.
