Former Jets scout highlights Shedeur Sanders' "red flags" as Raiders rumors continue to intensify

Shedeur Sanders has been one of the best quarterbacks in college football this season. The Colorado Buffaloes signal-caller is just a couple of months away from hearing his name called by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

While Sanders is widely considered an early first-round pick, former New York Jets scout Daniel Kelly (FIRST ROUND MOCK) listed 12 character concerns for Sanders. They are:

Shedeur Sanders is a projected top-five pick

Shedeur Sanders is widely considered a top-five pick in next year's draft. Many quarterback-needy teams have scouted him.

According to CBS Sports, Sanders will be drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders with the second overall pick. Sporting News also sees the Raiders picking the Buffaloes quarterback with the second overall pick.

Las Vegas Raiders have quarterback issues

The Las Vegas Raiders need help at the quarterback position. The franchise started the season with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell, and it's not surprising that they've struggled all season long.

Minshew has registered 2,013 passing yards, nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His season looks to have ended since he was added to the injured reserve.

O'Connell has registered 795 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. The Raiders have an unimpressive 2-10 record following their latest loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shedeur Sanders could be a solid building block for the franchise, and who knows, they could also get his Hall of Fame dad, Deion Sanders, as a head coach in a package deal.
