The Seminoles are certainly not playing in a bowl game after ending last year unbeaten during the regular season, while the Fighting Irish are battling for a spot in the expanded College Football Playoff.

FSU Football’s Friday Injury Report

Justin Cryer

Justin Cryer suffered a leg injury against the North Carolina Tar Heels in Week 10. The linebacker was stretchered off the Gridiron, and the injury elicited audible gasps from the crowd.

Cryer will not play in today's game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. However, FSU head coach Mike Norvell believes that the leg injury isn't as significant as initially feared. Hence, while he's set to miss today's game, he could yet feature this season after being re-evaluated.

Maurice Smith

Maurice Smith is questionable for today's game against the Fighting Irish due to injury. The experienced center missed last week's game against North Carolina, and the Seminoles glaringly lacked his veteran presence.

Smith is one of the most experienced players on the FSU roster. He'll be evaluated before today's game.

Fentrell Cypress II

Fentrell Cypress II is currently questionable to play against Notre Dame. The cornerback was clearly dealing with an injury against North Carolina, as he was limited to just 11 snaps.

Cypress II hasn't missed a game this season. He'll be looking to continue his run in Week 11 against the in-form Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame Football’s Friday Injury Report

Tae Johnson

According to Notre Dame Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman, Tae Johnson will be available for selection in today's game against the FSU Seminoles. The defensive back has dealt with injuries recently but looks set to contribute to his team's playoff push moving forward.

Mitch Jeter

Mitch Jeter is questionable for a feature in tonight's game against the FSU Seminoles. Jeter has been out of action for weeks due to injury.

However, Coach Freeman stated in a press conference that the kicker has improved significantly. He could return to action soon.

Loghan Thomas

Loghan Thomas, a key edge defender for the Fighting Irish, suffered an injury in the game against the Navy. He's currently listed as questionable for today's game against FSU.
