After opening the season with two wins, Georgia Tech will be on the road this weekend to face Syracuse. The Yellow Jackets staged an upset against Florida State in Week 0 and added another win against Georgia State in Week 1. Keeping up the momentum will be the goal on Saturday.

Syracuse, on the other hand, opened the 2024 season on a brilliant note, securing a win against Ohio in Week 1. The Orange will be hoping to avoid defeat this weekend when they host the Yellow Jackets, a feat that could set the program sailing in a season with lots of expectations.

The smallest margin of victory in the series took place in August 2001, with the Yellow Jackets defeating the Orange 13-7 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

As conference rivals, Georgia Tech leads the series with a 2-1 record, which will either be extended or matched this weekend.

The longest winning streak in the series is two games and is held by Georgia Tech, spanning 12 years.

The series has witnessed a total of 186 points scored in its four-game history, with Georgia Tech boasting 120 and Syracuse scoring 66. That's an average of 46.5 points per game in the series.
