The Yellow Jackets are an 11-point underdog while the over/under is set at 50.5 points. Georgia Tech is coming off a lopsided loss to Notre Dame, which snapped its two-game winning streak as it had wins over North Carolina and Duke.
In the loss against Notre Dame, Georgia Tech led 7-0 after the first quarter but struggled the rest of the way. However, Yellow Jackets coach Brent Key said his team didn't play well at all.
"Credit, credit to Notre Dame, had a plan for getting a win today," Key said, via SI. "But speaking of ourselves, we did not play well enough to win, the things we did. You don't deserve to win when you play that way.
"There's some things we did today that we did and some things we didn't do. chance to watch the film tonight and really make sure that we're correct on And I'll save a lot of judgment until we have a chance to go back and have a chance to watch the film tonight."

On the other hand, Virginia Tech is coming off a 42-21 win over Boston College last Thursday, so the Hokies have had some extra rest.
“That’s a good team that we beat tonight,” Virginia Tech coach Brent Pry said, via ESPN. “And we beat them soundly.”
The Hokies have been led by Kyrone Drones, who has thrown for 1,319 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions. But the team is led by Bhayshul Tuten, who has rushed for 871 yards and 12 touchdowns on 125 carries.

Virginia Tech entered the season with expectations of competing for the ACC, but that hasn't been the case so far. However, this is a good spot for the Hokies to extend their winning streak, as Virginia Tech's defense will be able to limit Georgia Tech to getting a big win here.
Prediction: Virginia Tech 38, Georgia Tech 24.
