Germie Bernard is an American wide receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide and will play the 2024 season as a junior. He is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, and graduated from Liberty High School. Bernard was coached by Richard Muraco during high school who helped him win the 2021 Mountain League Offensive Most Valuable Player. Bernard committed to play for the Michigan State Spartans in 2022 and transferred to the Washington Huskies in 2023, after a solitary season. Bernard will continue his collegiate career as an immediate starter for Alabama in 2024, where he will play two positions, as a wide receiver and a contributor on special teams.
Germie Bernard had a noteworthy high school career at Liberty High School. He was ranked the No. 199 overall recruit by ESPN and No. 31 wide receiver by 247Sports. In 2021 he won the Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year. He also emerged as the all-league first-team honors for both, wide receiver and return specialist. Bernard’s high school statistics were remarkable, he received 956 yards and 12 touchdowns on 53 receptions. He also rushed 452 yards on 37 carries as a senior.
