The Nebraska Cornhuskers cruised to a commanding 28-10 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes, driven by a strong defensive effort and a composed performance from freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola on Saturday night.

Raiola threw for 185 yards and a touchdown and impressed fans with his play and his striking resemblance to Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes.

Fans couldn’t help but notice his resemblance to Mahomes. Some praised the similarities, and others were quick to point out that Raiola, despite his style, isn't Mahomes just yet.

“He’s taking it a little too far. Kid has spent years watching and imitating every movement and mannerism of Mahomes. He’s not Patrick!” one fan wrote.
“DR is fat and slow compared to PM,” another fan commented.
“I’d bet his girlfriend looks like Britney Mahomes too,” another wrote.

Some fans also think that Nebraska QB's uncanny with Mahomes is a bit of a stretch:

“Uncanny is a bit of a stretch. Let’s just agree they look 'similar' and leave it at that,” a fan wrote.
“The same hair cut and chin hair is d*** eating just wear his number and call it a day my guy,” another wrote.
“He copying everything Mahomes does, he even walks like him,” one wrote.

Although the Cornhuskers weren’t flawless — Raiola missed a wide-open touchdown opportunity, and kicker Tristan Alvano missed a field goal — the team capitalized on the chances created by its defense.

Nebraska's victory snapped a three-game losing streak against Colorado and earned the program its 50th all-time win over the Buffaloes. The win marks the Nebraska Cornhuskers' first 2-0 start since 2016.

Dylan Raiola trolled Shedeur Sanders by mimicking his signature celebration

Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola had a little fun after the win against Colorado, copying Shedeur Sanders' signature celebration. It wasn't the best night for Sanders, who faced a tough defense and got sacked six times. His early interception, picked off by Tommi Hill and returned for a touchdown, put Nebraska ahead 14-0.

After the game, Barstool's Will Compton shared a photo of Raiola in the locker room, striking the same pose as Sanders.

While Nebraska's offense missed a few chances, its strong defense secured a solid victory, keeping up its winning streak against Colorado.
