The Penn State Nittany Lions have cemented themselves as one of the top programs in the nation over the last few years. The Big Ten school has produced top talents like Micah Parsons, Saquon Barkley and Sean Clifford in recent years.

This year hasn't been the exception for the Nittany Lions making the big jump into the NFL. In total, eight Penn State players were drafted.

Penn State players drafted in the 2024 NFL draft

#1, Olu Fanshanu, No. 11 pick (New York Jets)

The consensus All-American offensive tackle was selected by the New York Jets in the first round, hoping to afford Aaron Rodgers better protection next year. He was the starter for the Nittany Lions for the past two seasons, earning the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year Award in 2023.

#2, Chop Robinson, No. 21 pick (Miami Dolphins)

The Penn State outside linebacker was also selected in the first round of the NFL draft. The first-team All-Big Ten 2023 selection was chosen by the Miami Dolphins, to bolster their defense. Robinson started his college days at Maryland in 2021, then transferred to Penn State in 2022.

#3, Caedan Wallace, No. 68 pick (New England Patriots)

Wallace, a third-round pick, had been an offensive tackle at Penn State since 2019. In 2020 he started seven games, and from 202s onwards he was a bona fide starter. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 2023.

#4, Adisa Isaac, No. 93 pick (Baltimore Ravens)

Another third-round pick for the Nittany Lions. The linebacker who was with the school from 2019 until 2023, was a third-team All-Big Ten selection in 2022 and first-team All-Big Ten in 2023.

#5, Theo Johnson, No. 107 pick (New York Giants)

Johnson, a tight end from Winnipeg, Manitoba, played for Penn State, choosing the Big Ten outfit over Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio State. He was picked in the fourth round by the Giants.

#6, Hunter Nourzad, No. 159 pick (Kansas City Chiefs)

Another offensive lineman drafted from Penn State, Nourzad initially made his name as a center with Cornell in the Ivy League, where he was the Ivy League Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2021. He transferred to Penn State for the 2022 season and earned a second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2023. He was a fifth-round pick.

#7, Daequan Hardy, No. 219 pick (Buffalo Bills)

The second-to-last Penn State player to be drafted was cornerback Daequan Hardy, who was chosen by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round. Hardy was a third-team All-Big Ten pick for the 2023 season. He also worked on special teams, setting a school record for punt return touchdowns in a single game, with two.

#8, Kalen King, No. 255 pick (Green Bay Packers)

Cornerback Caleb King was the last of the Nittany Lions to be selected in the NFL draft, chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round. He was second-team All-Big Ten in 2023 and third-team All-Big Ten in 2022.
