
American college football player Jarquez Hunter is a running back for the Auburn Tigers, a team which competes in the Southeastern Conference. He is a senior as of April 2025 and hails from Philadelphia, Mississippi, as per the NFL website. Hunter spent his prep days at the Neshoba Central Rockets, where, as a senior, he recorded 1,687 yards rushing with 22 touchdown runs and 2,069 all-purpose yards. The following season, he recorded 675 rushing yards. Hunter returned back as a starter in the 2023 season and recorded 2,172 career rushing yards, ranked 18th in the team. In 2024, as a senior tailback, he was honored with the first team All-SEC. Hunter registered 3,371 yards and 25 rush TDs to become the fourth among Auburn career rushers to do so, as per his roster on the Tigers University website. Hunter completed his graduation in May 2024 from the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment and is doing graduate study at the College of Liberal Arts.
