The EA Sports College Football 25 is set to deliver some unique experiences to players when it gets released this summer, especially in Dynasty Mode. For players attempting to build a college football dynasty of their own, recruiting is important. Here’s a look at how recruiting high school prospects works in the upcoming video game.

How does recruiting work in EA Sports College Football 25?

Recruiting is the heartbeat of college football. A team must be built to reload rather than rebuild to maintain a consistent winning program in college football.

Recruitment of high school talents in College Football 25 Dynasty Mode involves what EA Sports called “Staged Recruiting.” Each recruit will be at a different stage in their recruitment process. The current stage of a recruit will determine how players can interact with them.

“In College Football 25, we are introducing a new Staged Recruiting experience, built around three distinct phases: Discovery, Pitch, and Close,” EA Sports wrote. "Just like the real world, every recruit will be in a different stage of their process. Where they are in their process will dictate how you interact with them and the level of engagement they require.”

More than 3,500 recruits will be generated annually from across the United States, and top real-world recruitment regions for blue-chip talents will be featured. The interest of high school recruits in a program is decided by 14 different pitch grades, including playing time and brand exposure.

It’s worth noting that there are deal breaker requirements for some recruits and if a program cannot meet up to that, they get locked out by the recruit.

Details of signing periods in Dynasty Mode

Both the Early Signing Day and the National Signing Day will be featured in College Football 25 when playing Dynasty Mode. Both signing days have been designed to occur during a certain period during the season, and committed recruits will be seen signing their National Letter of Intent.

“Just like the real world, College Football 25 features both Early Signing Day and National Signing Day,” EA Sports said. “Early Signing Day takes place at the start of Bowl Season after the regular season has been completed. National Signing Day takes place seven weeks after the National Championship.”

Unsigned recruits after National Signing Day will linger and become walk-ons in the offseason. During the recruiting process, players can monitor team recruiting rankings nationwide and filter these rankings by conference. This helps intensify recruitment efforts when required.
