The art of taunting in College Football 25 is a way to get under the skin of your opponents. There are a lot of different ways you can taunt, from doing it during a play to celebrating after scoring a touchdown. Let's dive deeper into the art of the taunt in College Football 25.

How to Taunt in College Football 25

It is very simple to taunt in College Football 25, as you can do so by holding LB + RB + A on Xbox or L1 + R1 + X on PlayStation.

There are a variety of different taunts once you score a touchdown, as those have many different celebrations that you can use with the right stick and different buttons associated with corresponding moves.

Another taunt that players can do is fake a pitch, as it does not do anything besides showboat against the defense.

In order to do so, you need to double-tap the LB button on Xbox or the L1 button on PlayStation. This makes the player look like he is attempting to throw the ball back but holding onto it.

Can taunting actually affect opponent's performance?

While it does not do too much in terms of in-game abilities, taunting can actually affect what your opponent does. If you are playing in a game mode that has a stadium pulse and you are taunting the home team, there is a chance that the stadium pulse is going to increase, thus making it more difficult for the opponent to garner much success.

Outside of this, taunting is just a way to "disrespect" your opponent for whatever reason and does not provide much for the actual game. It is used as a way to get under your opponent's skin.

What are the risks of over-taunting in College Football 25?

Over-taunting has been one of the biggest downfalls in College Football 25. There are some inherited risks of taunting, as taunting will make the ball carrier less aware of the situation and have an increased likelihood of fumbling the football.

While typically people are not going to taunt a defender in the vicinity of the play, it still happens and could cause a loss of possession as a result.
