College Football 25 is the success EA Sports was looking for. While there haven't been any official figures released regarding the sales of the game after the official launch, we do know that the game has made some $200 million in revenues through its early access program. That's right, College Football 25 sold some 2.2 million copies of its Deluxe Edition even before the game's official release date. Take into account, that the edition was priced at $99.99.
By those metrics, the game is already a huge success. It is also the third most-played game on Xbox as of last week, behind two juggernauts of the industry: Call of Duty and Fortnite. College football fans of the world unite indeed!
But enough of that, if you're here it is because you want some solid advice on how to play College Football 25.
Best tips to get on the winning ways in College Football 25
#3 Change your pass settings
Odds are that many a College Football 25 player out there is also a Madden 24 aficionado. The default pass system for College Football 25 is the "Revamped Passing", however, we encourage you to go for the "Passing and Accuracy" setting that Madden fans already know and love. The system is defined as follows:
“Enables a timing element for perfect accuracy on bullet passes on top of visual targets to control the pass placement and power.”
#2 Don't think kicking is as easy as Madden makes it look
Over the years College Football's sister franchise, Madden NFL, has made it look like kicking is just a formality. Well, no more. The new game has a two-click process, in which you need to accurately time the moving line to fall in the middle and hold it as the power meter surges. The trick is in that final step. Going for too much power will screw your kick.
#1 Recruit well but do it within your means
Generals like to say that battles can be won even before they begin. It seems that this applies to College Football 25's dynasty mode. The recruitment system is pretty similar to NCAA 14's, with you allocating hours to the recruits you want to convince to come to your school.
However, there's a caveat. It is much more realistic. You won't be able to convince four or five-star recruits to come to your small Mountain West school just because you allocated hours. Be realistic, and focus on 10-12 recruits.
