On July 20, 2026, Steve Sarkisian and his wife Loreal Sarkisian took to Instagram to announce their decision to part ways after four years of marriage.
The couple tied the knot in 2020 while Steve was working under Nick Saban at Alabama, just a year before he signed the contract with the Texas Longhorns.
Ever since then, Loreal Sarkisian has been titled the "First Lady of Texas Football" owing to her constant efforts to bring the Austin community closer, extending support to the players and also showing up to the games wearing her stylish gameday outfits.
In one of her vlogs on her YouTube channel, Loreal gave fans an insight into the process that goes behind her various top-notch looks while introducing her team members who help her achieve that look:
"My hair stylist, we've been working together for a while now. She does my hair for literally everything you know, just changing it up constantly for all of my looks. Alyssa, we met here in Austin last year. I'm very particular about what I don't like, to be made a new person, i like to work with what I already have, and she does a really good job."
Further talking about her style and sharing what the team thinks about it, Loreal Sarkisian said:
"I am, according to them, a lot, I like to think, I'm a little chic. I have a lot of timeless pieces when we use timeless structure, relatable to everybody. You know, maybe you do the top, but you won't do the bottoms or like the style so and not that I'm trying to be I think it just naturally happens that way." (1:00)

Loreal Sarkisian is a former track and field coach-turned-wardrobe stylish and is widely known for her extravagant outfits paired with thousands of dollars worth of accessories.
Fashion plays a major role in her life. Loreal is often seen attending fashion shows with big banners like Givenchy, Balmain and more, while also collaborating with them for her own business.
During the 2024 Sugar Bowl showdown on Jan. 3, 2024, Loreal styled a classic all-black outfit, which was quite different from her usual gameday fits. She tried to incorporate Texas-themed colors burnt orange, tan, brown, white and more to represent the Longhorns.
The look is consistent: a black leather jacket, a black skirt and black boots with a chunky, rusty gold belt. She completed the with a Coco Chanel bag worth $5,400 and was even admired by Nick Saban's daughter, Kristen Saban, for the unique look.
Fans would be interested to see if Loreal continues to make her appearances during gamedays as Texas gears up to play its first season in the SEC.
