Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders made his comeback from injury against Kansas State Wildcats in Week 7 but shouldered much of the blame for the 31-28 loss due to his performance. A week later, he reasserted himself as one of the best defensive players on the Buffs' roster in Colorado's dominant 34-7 win against the Arizona Wildcats.

Off the gridiron, Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders has a good relationship with his elder sister Deiondra. She once took his side in a hilarious family argument due to the shoes he was wearing in a 2023 video shared to his brother Shedeur Sander's YouTube channel. During the clip, his family was clowning him about his choice of shoes (5:30).

"Your shoes ain't all that," Shedeur said to Shilo. "I'm just saying them ain't them things."
"Hey man, don't show my shoes," Shilo Sanders said to the cameraman. "People nowadays just wanna follow any brand."
"I like your shoes, I like your shoes. Yeah, these are nice," Deiondra Sanders said. "I'm listening.

Deiondra Sanders gives shout-out to fiance Jacquees' new album amid Shilo Sanders' redemption tour

Deiondra Sanders' fiance Jacquees has an album set for release on November 1. Deiondra took to Instagram to give props to her fiance and encourage fans to preorder:

"Big shoutout to my man for dropping straight fire with this album! Proud of all the hard work and dedication. Go pre order! You gone wanna feel these vibes! 🔥"

Deiondra wasn't the only one to build the hype as Deion Sanders Jr., nicknamed Bucky, shared her post on his IG stories too.

While Jacquees is big news away from the field, Shilo Sanders caught some criticism for his performance after returning from an injury. College football fans piled a lot of the blame from the Colorado Buffaloes' 31-28 loss against the Kansas State Wildcats on safety Shilo Sanders.

Sanders was left bamboozled by Wildcats running back DJ Giddens, who gained ground allowing quarterback Avery Johnson to throw the 50-yard winning touchdown pass to Jayce Brown.

It didn't matter that it was Sander's first game back from a broken forearm from Week 2. Shilo's father, Colorado coach Deion Sanders, also criticized his son's performance in his postgame news conference.

“He (Shilo) played horrible. He was rusty, didn’t have his footing and struggled in open-field tackles. But he’ll do better. I know what he has in him," Coach Prime said.

Shilo also acknowledged the part that he played in the loss during his postgame news conference:

“We definitely should have had a win last game. We can’t give up plays that we know we can make. We can’t play below our standards, especially me, because I’m the free safety, the Ziplock of the defense. I can’t be going out there not being on my game,” Shilo said.

Shilo Sanders redeemed himself with a dominant performance against the Arizona Wildcats registering four tackles and limiting the Wildcats to 245 yards on offense. During his postgame news conference, his father was full of praise for his bounce-back performance.

“Proud of you (Shilo). We weren’t worried about you. You know we weren’t worried about you. That’s the first time they ever saw you vulnerable, so they attacked you like vultures. That’s just how America is,” Sanders said.

The Colorado Buffaloes have a loaded schedule between now and the end of the season and Shilo Sanders will likely try to use the remaining games to boost his 2025 NFL draft stock.
