"I am not perfect": Steve Sarkisian's wife Loreal Sarkisian once opened up about her insecurities

Texas coach Steve Sarkisian's wife Loreal Sarkisian once opened up about her insecurities. The couple tied the knot in 2020 and were together for four years before announcing their divorce, sharing that they decided to part ways but will continue to remain best friends.

Loreal Sarkisian is known for her fabulous game-day outfits and unconditional support for the Longhorns players and community. Her interests in the fashion industry are well known and have been well translated into her career as a wardrobe stylist.

During an interview in 2022 with "KXAN", Loreal Sarkisian was asked if she had any insecurities, as she's often lauded by fans for her 'perfection:' She responded:

"I am not perfect, because I I present a certain way which is very authentic. Anything you see, that is me. But I'm human. I make mistakes. I get upset. I have moments where I doubt myself.

"They did a really good job of us not knowing how hard it was for them. My parents worked hard caring for for kids. You know, I look back and I see my dad. We're eating, and then he's eating our leftovers. I don't know, you know what it took to raise us because again, that wasn't for us to be burdened with. I just don't know they did a good job of raising us." (2:00)

Meeting Steve Sarkisian's kids

Loreal Sarkisian was Steve Sarkisian's second wife; before that, the Texas coach had married Stephanie in 1997, when he was in the Canadian Football League working with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Steve and Stephanie were married for 18 years before announcing their divorce in 2015, five years before the Longhorns coach married Loreal. Steve Sarkisian co-parents his three kids, Taylor, Brady and Ashley, with his first wife, Stephanie, and seemingly has a good relationships with all of them.

The oldest kid, Ashley Sarkisian, was a student at New York University, who pursued a Bachelor's degree in international relations and is often seen enjoying her time as a college student.

Steve's other daughter, Taylor, celebrated her 16th birthday in April 2024. Taylor shares snippets from her life often as she spends time traveling abroad and partying with friends.

Steve Sarkisian's only son, Brady Sarkisian, made headlines when he picked the Texas Longhorns as a walk-on in 2022 over other programs like Arkansas State and Marshall Thundering Herd.

Brady regularly shares snippets from his time with the Longhorns as he works out at the gym with his teammate. The six-foot-one LB is studying sociology while working towards his football dreams with his dad.
