"I understand his lifestyle": Steve Sarkisian's wife Loreal Sarkisian once opened up about keeping up with Texas HC's intense schedule

Steve Sarkisian and his wife Loreal Sarkisian announced their decision to separate on July 26, 2024, via an Instagram story after four years of being together.

"After many heartfelt conversations, we have decided to amicably part ways and jointly file for divorce. We aim to remain the best of friends and are incredibly grateful for the love and support we have shared throughout our journey together,” Loreal's Instagram story read.

The couple tied the knot in 2020, when the Texas coach was working as Alabama's offensive coordinator.

In an interview in 2023, Loreal had opened up about her relationship with Steve Sarkisian, acknowledging his busy schedule and responsibilities as a coach:

"I totally understand his lifestyle, the schedule, the intensity of him being at the office all the time, recruiting on a roll."

"Some of the offices talk. You know, if you need to what's going on in your life. You know, just being able to wear a mom, sister, friend hat to get you along your life journey. There cant be two coaches in a relationship," Loreal Sarkisian said about choosing to pivot in her career.

Loreal has received admiration from fans all over the country for her stylish and chic outfits during the Longhorns' gamedays. She has also received compliments from other college football women like Nick Saban's daughter Kristen Saban and Deion Sanders' daughter Deiondra Sanders.

"Orange is hard. It is hard, whether it's sports, fashion or philanthropy, to go back to helping the people I will never get away from that. That is who I am."
