Is the Clemson Tigers game canceled?

No, the Clemson Tigers versus Stanford Cardinal game has not been canceled. However, it took quite the effort for Stanford to make the flight for the game.

According to SF Gate, the Stanford Cardinal football team was unable to make its cross-country flight to South Carolina on Thursday ahead of Saturday's CFB game at Clemson.

According to FlightAware, the Stanford football team was initially scheduled to fly out of San Jose on Thursday afternoon and land at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, South Carolina, just after midnight on Friday. However, the flight was eventually canceled after the football team sat on the tarmac for hours.

Subsequently, Stanford rebooked its flight for Friday morning out of San Francisco. The flight reportedly arrived in South Carolina after 7 p.m. EDT, less than 24 hours before kickoff of the Cardinals' matchup against the Clemson Tigers.

Stanford football spokesperson Brian Brownfield confirmed that the Stanford-Clemson game will take place on Saturday night despite the flight delay.
