Is Colorado’s Travis Hunter getting married? Two-way star’s fiancée sends bridesmaid package to close friend

Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter and his fiancé Leanna Lenne got engaged in February. On Thursday, Lenne shared the news of their upcoming wedding on social media.

Hunter’s fiancée reshared a story on her Instagram account of her friend, iamnoel, who had shared a picture of Lenne’s bridesmaid invitation. The invitation box had a wine bottle, a passport, a picture of the couple and a letter in it.

“Omfg ya’ll - I literally been cutting up all morning. I love you sm @leannalenne,” she captioned the picture.

Lenne also added a caption to reply to her friend:

“My heart.”

Lenne also reshared another Instagram story where a similar picture was shared by another friend, Nayeliz Marie.

The couple’s wedding is set to happen on May 24.

During the 2023 season, Travis Hunter gained national recognition in college football while playing for the Buffaloes under Deion Sanders.

Hunter's dual-role skills as a wide receiver and cornerback impressed fans. Offensively, he made an impact with 57 receptions for 721 yards and five touchdowns. On defense, he accumulated 30 tackles, two for loss, three interceptions and five passes defensed, despite being limited to nine games due to a liver injury.

Although the Buffaloes ended the season by losing eight of their final nine games, the outstanding performances of Hunter and junior quarterback Shedeur Sanders have created optimism for the program's growth in its second year.

Leanna Lenee is of Mexican and Filipino descent through her father and Black through her mother. She had recently got engaged to Travis Hunter. The couple shared this milestone on Instagram, with Hunter showcasing a $100,000 princess-cut diamond ring.

The two were featured in their YouTube channel's debut episode in October 2022. They offered a glimpse into their lives by building Halloween houses and engaging in a candid Q&A session.

The couple discussed their early relationship, including how they met and Leanna’s move-in with Hunter during his senior year of high school. They also talked about their future aspirations, including marriage and Leanna's commitment to completing her master’s degree and advancing her career.

Hunter and Lenne have been together since Hunter’s senior year in high school.
