Fans of the popular EA Sports College Football 25 game have had a few days to explore the game after its standard release on July 19 to much fanfare. They have had to wait 11 years since the last version was launched and the excitement has been palpable.
However, some fans are also encountering a few bugs and glitches in the new game as they get into the details of it before various patches are released. Over the weekend, there were complaints that the EA Team Builder feature was not working.
On the CFB 25 forum, fans complained of getting a blank white screen on the Team Builder site which was not loading any data. Some fans advised clearing browser cookies to resolve the issue but it seems to have persisted.
Other fans also complained that they could not view some of the College Football 25 Team Builder previews and when they could, the progress could not be saved forcing them to start the process all over again.
Yet other fans complained that when they started to create on the Team Builder page, the page stopped responding while other parts of the game worked just fine.
On the EA Sports blog, the Solaire community manager advised the fans on how to approach solving the problem:
"Please try the following and let me know if the site is loading properly then: Try a different web browser, disable any ad-block or other browser extensions, verify that you have 3D acceleration turned on in Chrome. If this doesn't help, please let me know what GPU you're currently using, as well as the current amount of RAM available on your system. Thank you!"
EA Sports College Football 25 team issues directive on Team Builder
As the issues persisted, the EA Solaire community team gave an overall update and addressed fans' concerns over the Team Builder function on the College Football 25 blog:
"Hi all, this issue is currently being investigated by the teams- we'll be providing updates on this in the thread here as we receive them. In the meantime, please try loading Team Builder through a different web browser or incognito mode. Thanks for your patience while we look into this, and for all the reports on this so far!" one community note read.
The game has been well received since its launch but as with any game, there will likely be a few more bugs that will progressively get fixed through patches brought on by the franchise in the coming days and weeks.
