Wide receiver Isaiah Bond transferred to Texas in January this year after playing two seasons at Alabama. The 5-foot-11, 182-pound wideout is expected to play a critical role for the Longhorns in the 2024 season, as Texas has plans to go all the way and win the national title.
Nonetheless, fans are curious to learn whether Bond's first year at Texas could be his final collegiate season.
Can Isaiah Bond declare for the NFL 2025 draft?

Isaiah Bond can declare for the 2025 NFL draft. He would have completed three years out of high school after the 2024 season.
As per ESPN's way-too-early 2025 NFL mock draft, Bond is projected as a first-round pick, with the Cincinnati Bengals selecting him at No. 25 overall.
However, it's important to note that Bond will still have his senior year of college eligibility in the 2025 season. Thus, he could opt to declare for the 2026 NFL draft if he decides to play one more year at the collegiate level.
In his two seasons at Alabama, Bond posted 888 yards and five touchdowns on 65 receptions across 27 games. He then announced his transfer to Texas just a few days after legendary coach Nick Saban stepped down from his post with the Tide.
Now, it will be interesting to see how Bond fares in Texas. He is likely to forge a strong partnership with quarterback Quinn Ewers.
When he transferred to Texas, Bond said his decision stemmed from a business standpoint, to boost his draft sock.
"Just like the business world, you make the best decision for your company," Bond told ESPN in a phone interview. "My company right now is my draft stock. I feel like I'm putting myself in position to increase that and have better draft stock."
Steve Sarkiasian's Texas will begin its 2024 season by hosting Colorado State on Aug. 31, and Bond is expected to start for the Longhorns in the season opener.
