Shilo Sanders has been in the spotlight ahead of Colorado's Week 3 matchup against Colorado State (1-1) on Saturday. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET from Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
However, Sanders won't suit up for Colorado (1-1) against the Rams, since the safety is dealing with an arm injury and is ruled out for Week 3.

Sanders reportedly broke his arm during the first half of Colorado's 28-10 loss in Week 2 against No. 23 Nebraska (2-0) last Saturday. The safety provided a detailed explanation of his injury on social media.
During his recovery in a hospital, Sanders pointed out that his injury occurred when he made a tackle on a run from Nebraska’s Dante Dowdell.
“After I made that tackle, I tried to lift my arm up." Sanders said. "It feels like your hands going like this, like your arm goes up, but your hand has no control.
“It feels like it’s somebody else’s hand. It didn’t hurt that bad, it just felt like adrenaline.” Sanders added.
Sanders recorded two tackles against Nebraska before exiting the game. He previously posted nine tackles, six of which were solo, in Colorado's season-opening win against NDSU.
When will Shilo Sanders return?
Sanders' injury required surgery. However, his injury will not cut short his season. As per reports, Sanders is likely to miss between two or three weeks of action for Colorado before potentially returning to the field.
Judging by the timeline, Sanders will be sidelined for Saturday's game against Colorado State and against Baylor on Sept. 21. If his recovery goes well, the defensive back could make a return against UCF on Sept. 28.
