Tyreak standing at 6'3" and weighing 272 pounds, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is known for his strength and agility, and Sapp has been a key contributor to the Gators’ defense.

On the other hand, Warren a seven-time Pro Bowler (1997–2003) and Super Bowl champion, was known for his dominance on the defensive line. Before his NFL career, he starred at the University of Miami, where he won some honors like the Lombardi Award and the Bronko Nagurski Trophy. He transitioned into coaching as a graduate assistant for the Colorado Buffaloes in 2024.

Tyreak Sapp, a standout EDGE player for the Florida Gators, has been a key player in the team’s defense. In the 2024 season, he led the Gators with 4.5 sacks and nine tackles-for-loss for 40 yards, Sapp is ranking highest among all Florida players and 17th among FBS edge rushers.

Sapp’s season highlights include a three-yard tackle-for-loss and two quarterback hurries against Miami, a career-high 2.5 tackles-for-loss and a forced fumble versus Samford, and a personal best of eight tackles, including four tackles-for-loss, against LSU. Starting 11 games in 2023, he logged 24 tackles, 2 sacks, and 4.5 tackles-for-loss, with standout moments like a sack against Tennessee and two forced fumbles against Vanderbilt. In 2022, he played all 13 games, recording 20 tackles and key defensive plays.

Before his college career, Sapp had given some notable performances in high school, amassing over 100 tackles, 21.5 sacks, and five fumble recoveries. Ranked among Rivals’ Top 100 players in Florida, he chose to join the Gators over offers from powerhouse programs like Alabama and Miami.

The Florida with a 6-5 overall record (4-4 in the SEC) secured bowl eligibility in the college football season 2024. Under Coach Billy Napier the team made a statement by achieving consecutive wins against ranked opponents for the first time since 2008.

Key players in the team’s performance, with DJ Lagway leading in passing with 1,297 yards, Jadan Baugh rushing for 476 yards, and Elijhah Badger recording 691 receiving yards. Defensively Trikweze Bridges led with 52 tackles, while Devin Moore contributed two interceptions.

The Gators averaged 28 points per game, totaling 2,316 passing yards and 13 touchdowns, along with 1,473 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns. The defense added 13 sacks and 10 interceptions.
