EA Sports College Football 25 has been one of the most highly anticipated games this year. On May 16, fans had their first look at the cover photo that included three powerhouses from the CFB world: Colorado's Travis Hunter, Michigan's Edward Donovan and Texas QB1 Quinn Ewers.

In a conversation with former Ravens star Robert Griffin III on his podcast "R3G and the Ones," Quinn Ewers spoke about being the face of the game and what it means to him:

"It's been great. I mean, it's honestly like humbling, and just like a blessing to be able to to have the opportunity to be on the game. I mean, it's been so long since the last one was out. I mean, you're on the cover of one of them. So you know you know how it feels. And you were the only guy up there too. So that's got to make it even better.
"You know hanging with those other guys and just experience the whole photoshoot all the videos we did and it was just an overall cool experience. And I mean it's good for the whole university." (2:12)

While many expect Ewers to be one of the highest-rated players in the game, some fans had their reservations about the Texas QB's unrealistic face scan.

Regardless, Ewers is seemingly thrilled about partaking in the game and being on the cover photo. When asked about his unrealistic appearance in the game, the Texas QB1 said:

"I don't mind it. I mean, to make him look more like me. I guess they wanted me to like shave the beard, I guess just keep the moustache is what it looked like. Maybe they're trying to get me to look different.
"But no, I mean, I'm not too worried about it. It's still, it's still a cool, cool experience. And it's cool to be in a video game. I've never been in one. So it's gonna be pretty cool to play with the horns." (3:55)

After the much-anticipated trailer was released, the game is set to launch on July 19, 2024. Fans can pre-order the standard version for $69.99 and the deluxe edition for $99.99
