
J.J. Weaver is an American college football player who plays at the outside linebacker position. He is in his junior year as of April 2025 and plays for the Kentucky Wildcats, a team that competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision. He is a five-year letter winner and three-time team captain. Weaver was again selected as the team captain in the 2023 season as a senior. He was a Jason Witten Man of the Year semifinalist that year and recorded 45 tackles. The following year, he was named as one of the 11 FBS Allstate AFCA Good Works Team members. He also won the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year and was a Wuerffel Trophy semifinalist. He attended 10 games and started all of them, totalling 32 tackles.
