Jabbar Muhammad is an American college football player who will be playing as a cornerback for the Oregon Ducks after he was transferred for the 2024 season. Jabbar started his college football career after he was enrolled with the Oklahoma State Cowboys in 2020. He played for three seasons with the Cowboys and was transferred for the first time to the Washington Huskies in 2023. During the Jan. 2024 transfer portal, he joined the Ducks, where he will be playing as a cornerback for the 2024 season.

Jabbar began his American football career as a cornerback for the DeSoto High School, from where he passed out in 2020. During his high school football career, he gained first-team All-District 7-6A and was named defensive MVP at The Opening during his junior year. He recorded 32 tackles and five interceptions in his junior year. In his senior year, he posted 34 tackles, helping the team to a 9-3 record.

In 2023 following his transfer to Washington, he appeared in all 15 games and recorded 41 solo tackles, three interceptions, and 14 passed defended. During the 2023 season, he earned the No. 7 in the nation in passes defended and also won the Newcomer of the Year Award and Defensive Skill Player of the Year Award at the team’s postseason banquet. Jabbar in 2023 was also included in the UW Coaches Defensive Skill Player of the Week, the recognition came after he posted four tackles, a sack, and a pass breakup.

During his sophomore year in 2022 with Oklahoma State, he appeared in 12 games with 10 starts. In 2022 with 10 starts, he recorded 48 total tackles with 32 solo, one interception, a forced fumble, nine pass breakups, and half a tackle for loss. In 11 games out of the 12, he recorded a minimum of one tackle and multiple tackles in nine games. He also ended with five tackles five times in six games from Oct. to Nov. Also registered 832 total defensive snaps while earning a 76.3 overall grade from Pro Football Focus with a 78.7 coverage grade.

Oregon Ducks cornerback Jabbar, who was recently transferred in 2024 wears the jersey number 7 and is in his senior year for the college football team. During his junior year with the Washington Huskies, he wore jersey number 1 and earned both the Preseason All-Pac-12 First Team and Second Team. During his career with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, he wore jersey number 7, where he played for five games in his first year and made a tackle to secure the win against Kansas in the third game of the season. During his high school career with the DeSoto High School, he also wore the number 7 jersey.
