Jack Nelson, a Wisconsin native, is an American Football player who plays for the Wisconsin Badgers college football team. He plays in the offensive lineman position. His college football career started when he committed to the Badgers in 2017, and after he was enrolled in 2020. Jack in his senior year has enjoyed two seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers college football team. In 2024, he will complete his three-year starter for the Badgers as an offensive lineman.

Jack’s football history commences from his high school football career at Stoughton High School in Massachusetts. His high school career records a number of awards, including an invitation to the 2020 All-American Bowl and Joe Thomas Award winner as the state’s top senior offensive lineman. After high school, he was named as a four-star recruit by 247 Sports, ESPN, and Rival, he was also ranked the No.2 prospect in Wisconsin.

His college career began in 2020, in his redshirt season he appeared in one game and made his debut game against Michigan. In the 2021 season, he appeared in 13 games as a right guard and ended as the Big Ten’s second-ranked rushing offense. In the following season, in 2022 he made 12 starts all at the left tackle, and managed to register an 83.1 pass blocking rating by PFF. The 2023 season was a year that recorded honors and awards for Jack, including the Academic All-Big Ten in 2023. Jack appeared in 13 games at left tackle and earned a third letter. In addition, he was ranked second for Badger offensive lineman with a 70.6 PFF offensive grade. He pushed to a 75.6 PFF pass-blocking grade, which is the 16th best in the Big Ten.
