Jackson Arnold is one of the highly-rated quarterbacks who will play his second year of college football with the Oklahoma Sooners. Arnold attended John H. Guyer High School where he was regarded as the No.1 prospect in the state of Texas. He also received the 2022-23 Gatorade Player of the Year award for an outstanding senior season with the Wildcats. The five-star from Atlanta was ranked the No.3 overall prospect in the nation by ESPN and was also honored with the 2022 Landry Award. In his final season, Arnold led the Wildcats to an undefeated season and threw for 3,476 yards and 33 touchdowns with two interceptions.

Jackson was also selected as the MaxPreps Texas Player of the Year before commencing his collegiate football journey with Oklahoma. He held offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee among others. In his true freshman year, Arnold played as a backup to Dillion Gabriel and saw action in seven games. During his time on the field, Arnold threw for 563 passing yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions. The No.1 quarterback from Texas in the 2023 recruiting cycle is expected to play a leading role for the Sooners following the transfer of Dillion Gabriel to Oregon Ducks last year.
