Jackson Arnold is an American footballer at the collegiate level for the Oklahoma Sooners team. His journey to join the University of Oklahoma in 2023 began after playing as a quarterback for his High School varsity team. Hailing from Denton, Texas, Arnold attended John H. Guyer High School where he showcased his football skills.

During his junior year, Arnold made an impressive mark by passing for 3,921 yards, 34 touchdowns, and also rushed for 659 yards with 12 touchdowns. His outstanding performance led him to be rated as a four-star recruit, receiving 25 scholarship offers. Arnold committed to playing college football at Oklahoma, but as his senior year progressed, he was re-rated as a five-star recruit, solidifying his status as a top talent.

Arnold's talent was further recognized when he participated in the finals of the 2022 Elite 11 quarterback competition and was named the tournament's MVP. Adding to his accolades, he was also awarded the 2022 winner of the Landry Award after his stellar senior year in high school.
