Jahmal Banks plays as a wide receiver for the Nebraska Cornhuskers college football team, having joined Nebraska in January 2024 after four seasons at Wake Forest. Jahmal’s college football career is celebrated with much recognition as it includes the 2022 All-ACC Honorable Mention and the 2023 Preseason Athlon First Team All-ACC. In 2024, he was also included in the Brook Berringer Citizenship Team and Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Nebraska’s WR, Jahmal’s football career kicked off at his high school, Saint Frances Academy. During his four-year-high school career, he helped his team earn a 44-3 record and an 11-1 mark in 2019. His career is projected with several achievements, he was a two-time first-team All-Conference and earned MVP honors in both football and basketball.

After high school, he was enrolled with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in 2020 where he spent four seasons with the college team. In the 2021 season, as a true freshman, he appeared in 14 games and managed to record a historic season with the ACC Atlantic Division title and Gator Bowl Titles. He ended the season with five receptions for 98 yards and recorded his career-high score of three receptions, 63 receiving yards, and a 39-yard reception. In 2022, he played in 13 games and pushed the Demon Deacons to an 8-5 record. His record that season was registered as 42 catches for 636 yards and nine touchdowns. The 2023 season was the breakthrough season for Jahmal as he featured in every game for Wake Forest and was ranked fifth in the ACC in reception per game. Jahmal made 10 starts in the 2023 season for Wake Forest and ended the season posting 59 receptions for 653 yards, a team-high record.
