Jalen Catalon is a college football player for the UNLV Rebels Football team, playing as a defensive back. Catalon attended Mansfield Legacy High School where he excelled in multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, and football. As a sophomore in high school, Catalon recorded an impressive 183 total tackles, 139 solo stops, seven tackles for loss, nine interceptions, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He earned four Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2017 after posting 101 tackles, 70 solo stops, six tackles for loss, three interceptions, six forced fumbles, and six fumble recoveries as a junior.
