American football quarterback Jalen Milroe, who plays for the Alabama Crimson Tide, was born on December 13, 2002. Milroe spent the whole 2021 season as sophomore quarterback Bryce Young's backup at Alabama. He started the 2022 season as Bryce Young's backup. Milroe completed 11 throws for 149 yards and a touchdown in Alabama's spring game.

After Young left for the 2023 season, Milroe had competition from Tyler Buchner and Ty Simpson to start at quarterback for Alabama. In the end, Milroe was selected as the starter. He led Alabama to a 56-7 victory against Middle Tennessee by combining for a total of five touchdowns—three passing and two rushing—while throwing for 194 yards on 13 completions.

Milroe was dropped from his position as the team's starting quarterback in favor of Tyler Buchner for the game against the University of South Florida (USF). After Buchner had struggled against USF the week before, Nick Saban declared that Milroe would be the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, heading into Alabama's Southeastern Conference (SEC) opener against Ole Miss the following week. In a 42-28 victory over Louisiana State University (LSU), Milroe threw for 219 yards and ran for a career-high 155 yards and four touchdowns. The next week, Alabama defeated Kentucky 49-21, owing to a total of six touchdowns by Milroe.

Jalen Milroe 40 Time

Jalen Milroe ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds. He weighs about 212 pounds and is 6-foot-2. He therefore poses a serious threat to the opponents he faces on the gridiron because of his speed.

After graduating from Obra D. Tompkins High School in Texas, Milroe ran a 40-yard sprint in 4.64 seconds. This was just one more instance of how he can develop into a dependable and lethal dual-threat quarterback who is capable of both making accurate throws and rushing the ball. In addition, he set a record-breaking 34.80 inches for the vertical jump.

In Alabama's weight room, Milroe made his initial impressions. He was a Rivals100 member when he signed with the Crimson Tide, but in his first campaign, he had a difficult time getting into the game, playing in only four games as the team's third option behind starter Young and backup Paul Tyson. Rather than on the field, Milroe left his imprint by performing a number of jaw-dropping lifts. A video of him squatting 500 pounds from last summer surfaced first. After that, he easily completed 300-pound power-clean repetitions throughout the offseason.
