Jalen Rivers is a college football offensive lineman for the Miami Hurricanes, as of 2024. Rivers attended Oakleaf High School, where he was recognized as a consensus four-star recruit and participated in the prestigious Under Armour All-America Game.

Rivers earned accolades that included selection to the prestigious Under Armour All-America Game, showcasing his skills on a national stage. Throughout his high school tenure, he was consistently ranked among the best players in Florida, being listed as the No. 5 offensive tackle and the No. 4 player in the state by ESPN. In addition to his football achievements, Rivers excelled academically, maintaining an A/B honor roll status and receiving an invitation to the National Junior Honor Society. His multifaceted talents extended beyond football; he also competed in basketball, weightlifting, and track & field, where he won a state championship in shot put.

Rivers began his collegiate journey at Miami in 2020. He made an immediate impact by appearing in seven games during his true freshman season. However, his first year was cut short due to a leg injury sustained in a game against Michigan State. By 2021, Rivers emerged as the starting left guard but faced another injury that limited his contributions that season. In 2022, Rivers transitioned to left tackle. He quickly adapted to this role, by starting all 13 games for the Hurricanes. His performance was instrumental in the team's offensive line being recognized on the midseason honor roll for the Joe Moore Award, which honors the best offensive line unit in college football. Rivers earned the All-ACC Second Team honors in 2023. Throughout the season, he played a pivotal role in several high-scoring games, including a standout performance against Texas A&M where Miami amassed 451 yards of offense. His contributions were particularly notable during critical matchups against top-ranked teams. For instance, during a double-overtime victory against Clemson, Rivers helped lead an offensive effort that totaled 211 rushing yards against one of the nation’s toughest defenses.
