Jaylen Henderson is an American football quarterback playing for the Texas A&M Aggies, as of 2024. Henderson is a junior with one year of experience at the collegiate level.

After high school, Henderson committed to playing college football at California State University, Fresno. During his two seasons at Fresno State, he participated in five games and completed 5-of-8 passes for 49 yards. In the spring of 2021, he had a standout senior season, leading the Mission League in both passing and rushing. He threw for 1,402 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also rushing for 345 yards and another touchdown.

In 2023, after transferring to Texas A&M, Henderson took on a crucial role in the team’s offense. He started the last four games of the season and scored eight of the team’s 14 offensive touchdowns during the final three regular-season games. He finished the season with a remarkable passing efficiency rating of 165.2, completing 53 of 78 passes for 715 yards and six touchdowns.

Henderson further completed 16 of 23 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Abilene Christian University (ACU). He set a personal record with 294 passing yards in a game against LSU, completing 25 of 35 attempts with two touchdowns. Although he started in the Texas Bowl, his performance was cut short due to an injury sustained on the opening drive.
