Jaylen Henderson is a college football player currently playing for the Texas A&M Aggies football program, representing Texas A&M University. After completing his high school career, Henderson committed to join the California State University, Fresno, and played for the Fresno State Bulldogs football team from 2021 to 2022, appearing in five games. Henderson decided to transfer to the Texas A&M in May 2023.

Upon entering the 2023 season, Henderson started as the third-string quarterback but eventually worked his way up to being named the team's starting quarterback.

During the 2023 Texas Bowl, he, unfortunately, suffered an injury on the first play from scrimmage, landing awkwardly on his right arm. Henderson exited the field with a brace on his arm and was replaced by true freshman Marcel Reed.
