Jeff Sims is a quarterback for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Sims committed to Georgia Tech in 2020, starting in 10 games and passing 1,881 yards for 13 touchdowns. He also rushed for 492 yards and six touchdowns. Sims was named ACC Rookie of the Week three times in his freshman season, making him the first-ever Yellow Jacket player to achieve such an honor since Calvin Johnson.

Sims’ standout performance was his debut game against the Florida State Seminoles when he threw for 277 yards. He also rushed for 100 yards for three touchdowns against Duke. Over the three years at Georgia Tech, the Jacksonville, Florida native scored more than 5,500 total yards and also earned ACC All-Academic team recognition. He signed for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2023 and played in five games, completing 28 passes for 282 yards. Sims also rushed for 189 yards with a 57-yard touchdown run, the longest of his career, as of December 2024.
