Jim Harbaugh is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL as of December 2024. The former quarterback played 14 seasons in the NFL as a player and spent six years (1987–1993) with the Chicago Bears. The Bears selected the NFL Comeback Player of the Year (1995) winner in the inaugural round of the NFL draft of 1987. Harbaugh also played for the Indianapolis Colts (1994–1997), Baltimore Ravens (1998), San Diego Chargers (1999–2000), Detroit Lions (2001), and Carolina Panthers (2001). He earned the Big Ten Most Valuable Player and Big Ten Player of the Year awards in 1986.

The Pro Bowl winner (1995) started his coaching career at Western Kentucky as an Offensive consultant from 1994–2001. Harbaugh, the Big Ten Most Valuable Player (1986) additionally filled in as the head coach of four other sides. He first became the head coach at San Diego in 2004 and later led the Stanford Cardinals (2007–2010), San Francisco 49ers (2011–2014), and Michigan (2015–2023). He has received awards such as the NFL Coach of the Year (2011) and Big Ten Coach of the Year (2022). The two-time PFL champion coach also won the Big Ten championship from 2021 to 2023.

Jay Harbaugh

Jay Harbaugh is the eldest son of Jim and Miah, born on June 14, 1989, as per People.com. Jay was passionate about football and played in high school until a knee injury ended his career, as he shared with The San Diego Union-Tribune in 2016.

He started coaching as an intern with the San Francisco 49ers before turning into an undergraduate assistant at Oregon State University. Jay later spent nine seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Michigan. In February 2024, he was named the special teams coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. Jay is married to Bhritney and they have two kids, Jacob and Norma.

James Harbaugh Jr.

James was born on September 4, 1996. He was a student at Michigan State University and has a passion for theater and performing arts, according to the Detroit Free Press. He credits his father for introducing him to the creative world, recalling a family outing to see the production of Wicked.

James works as a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines, combining his love for travel with his career. As per his Instagram, he has a strong enthusiasm for exploring new places and dreams of advancing his career in the airline industry.

Grace Harbaugh

Based on People.com, Grace Harbaugh, born on June 27, 2000, was a member of the women’s water polo team at Michigan State University. She was inspired by her lifelong enthusiasm for swimming and the team dynamics of the game, which she started playing at 14.

Grace pursued a master’s degree in business management at Michigan State University's Ross School of Business, according to her LinkedIn. She has been working as a Trainee in Marketing and Brand Partnerships at United Talent Agency since September 2024. Furthermore, Grace has worked part-time with WOLV-TV, the MiSHEgan Podcast, Barstool Sports, etc.

Addison Harbaugh

Addison Harbaugh, often called Addie, was born in 2008 and is the oldest girl child of Jim and his second wife, Sarah. Experiencing childhood in Michigan during her dad's coaching tenure at the college, Addie spent a lot of her early life immersed in sports and active pursuits, according to People.

Jim shared a post on X in 2019 regarding the dedication of Addison and said, “My wife told my daughter that she was playing too aggressive and my daughter told my wife ‘if you’re not playing aggressive then you’re not trying hard enough’... never been prouder of her!”

Katherine Harbaugh

Katherine Harbaugh, also known as Katie, was born on December 17, 2010. She has been seen cheering from the sidelines during her father's games, according to People. In 2015, Jim posted on X, “Happy 5th Birthday to my daughter & my love, Katie. You've made the last 1,826 days precious in each & every way.”

Jack Harbaugh

Born in 2012, Jack Harbaugh was named after Jim's grandfather, legendary NFL coach Jack Avon Harbaugh. Jim has shared different moments with Jack online, including photographs of them sailing in Michigan, enjoying lunch at the seaside, and going to football matches. In February 2019, Jim posted an image of Jack wearing a Tom Brady shirt at a game, captioning it, "Jack is my GOAT!" Jack, who shares his dad's love for football, has frequently been seen at his father's games.

John Paul Harbaugh

John Paul Harbaugh was born on January 11, 2017. Jim announced his birthday on X, “Arriving early, weighing in at 4 lb 13 oz, with an 18 in wingspan, our newest Wolverine teammate, John Harbaugh. Precious... God is good.” In 2017, when John weighed 5 pounds, Jim shared a post and said “Better today than yesterday! Better tomorrow than today!” He also uploaded a video of him singing with John on his YouTube channel in 2017.
