American college football player Jordan Burch is a defensive end for the Oregon Ducks. The team competes in the Big Ten Conference. He is in his senior year as of April 2025, according to his roster on the aforementioned university website. Burch is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He was also recruited by programs like Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and North Carolina. In addition, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Wake Forest also recruited him.

Jordan Burch started his college football career in 2020 with South Carolina. He attended eight games that season and concluded that season, recording 19 tackles, including nine solo, and 2.5 tackles for loss. The following year, he saw all 13 games in action and managed to earn his first career start in the final game of the season. He registered 26 tackles, including 14 solo, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, two pass deflections, and a pick-six overall that season.

As a sophomore in 2022, Burch played in all 13 games and recorded 60 tackles. He moved to the Oregon Ducks in 2023 as a junior and played in all 14 games and started the first 13 games. His name was also listed in the Coaches All-Pac-12 honorable mention in his first season with the Ducks. As a senior in 2024, he was honored with the All-Big Ten third team. He additionally bagged the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, Reese’s Senior Bowl Co-Defensive Player of the Week, and Shrine Bowl Breakout Defensive Player of the Week, all three honors came in Week 6. He attended 16 games as a senior and made nine starts.

Jordan Burch’s High School

Jordan Burch attended Hammond School for his prep days where he was a consensus five-star recruit. 247Sports composite ranked him as the all-time No. 188 player. He led his high school team to a 12-2 record in 2019 and won a third-straight SCISA 3A title. As a senior, he was named as the 2019 USA Today All-America selection. He was also named as the 2020 Under Armour All-America game captain.
