Jordan Hancock, born on August 12, 2003, is an American college football cornerback who has returned to Ohio State in 2024 with two years of eligibility remaining. He began his high school football career at the North Gwinnett High School where he led the school to three regional titles and one State Championship. A consensus four-star recruit, Hancock was considered the No.6 cornerback in the class of 2021. The Georgia native initially pledged his services to the Tigers before announcing his decommitment to join the Buckeyes.

Hancock began his collegiate football journey with Ohio State Buckeyes in 2021 over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, Indiana, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ole Miss among others. In his true freshman season, Hancock played in seven games managing only 31 defensive snaps. A hamstring injury kept him out for the majority of the 2022 campaign as he was out for the Buckeyes’ first six games. But Hancock exploded onto the college scene in 2023 after he registered 41 tackles, with two sacks, five pass breakups and two receptions.

After his breakthrough season in 2023, Jordan Hancock has decided to return to Ohio State as the returning starting cornerback before announcing himself for the 2025 NFL Draft.
