Appalachian State wide receiver Kaedin Robinson is entering the transfer portal. The Asheville, North Carolina native spent the last three seasons on the Mountaineers after one year at UCF.

In 2024, Robinson had 53 receptions for 840 yards and two touchdowns in nine games, before an injury cut his season short. He’ll start the 2025 season with 148 career receptions for 2,194 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Robinson is a hot commodity as Michigan, UCF, Cal, UCLA, Wake Forest, USC, Auburn, Florida State, Virginia, and West Virginia have already offered the senior wide receiver. He has one year of eligibility left.

These are the best landing spots for the graduate transfer.

#3. UCLA Bruins

Why not take the Joey Aguilar-Kaedin Robinson combination to the West Coast? Both were together at Appalachian State for two seasons and would join the Bruins for one year as graduate transfers.

The move would allow UCLA to pair a quarterback-wide receiver combo with an existing rapport instead of having Aguilar begin from scratch with new receivers.

The knock is that the Bruins have other needs on the roster. They already added former Cal receiver Mikey Mathews in the transfer portal. However, adding more depth to the position shouldn't hurt.

Robinson would also join a Power 4 program that was more competitive as the year wore on and will look to improve in 2025

#2. Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines offered Robinson almost immediately for a reason. He has been productive pretty much every season he has played and is considered a dangerous playmaker.

Michigan’s offense was dismal and was unable to stretch the field in 2024. Having the Asheville native on the roster should improve their wide receiver corps immediately.

While quarterback Bryce Underwood should help the offense, he needs targets to throw to and Michigan has room to improve.

#1. USC Trojans

The Trojans are another team that has already approached Kaedin Robinson with an offer. With Kyron Hudson, Duce Robinson, and Zachariah Branch leaving the program, there isn’t a lot of proven depth.

USC struggled in its first year in the Big Ten. If the Trojans want to compete against the best programs in the conference they need more playmakers. Ja’Kobi Lane and Makai Lemon are going back to LA, but adding more talent is necessary.
