'Tis the season of college players entering the NFL draft class and taking that next step. On X/Twitter, Kenneth Grant Jr. announced that he is going to be entering the 2025 NFL draft class in lieu of his senior season at Michigan.

"To my teammates, brothers, and all my friends. Thank you for the countless memories that were created and shared upon us. The support has pushed me to the limitis I never knew I could reach. With that said I Kenneth Grant Jr. will be declaring and entering my name into the 2025 NFL Draft."

Grant has shown to be a presence on the defensive line this season as he has 32 total tackles (18 solo, 14 assisted) with three sacks, two fumble recoveries, and five pass deflections. It will be interesting to see which teams are going to be interested in the 6-foot-3, 339-pound former national champion in the 2025 NFL draft.

5 potential landing spots for Kenneth Grant Jr.

#1. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are at risk of missing the playoffs this season and their defense has been the big weakness. This team has a lot of needs on the defensive side of the field and does not have as much talent on the defensive line as in the linebackers or secondary spots. Miami has a strong team and getting a defensive tackle should be one of their primary needs in the 2025 NFL draft.

#2. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have a defensive head coach in Jerod Mayo and adding a defensive lineman could help them improve even more. With Daniel Ekuale and Davon Godchaux at the defensive tackle spots, the Pats are in need of a solid run-stuffer. Kenneth Grant Jr. has the ability to win and with Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, and Aaron Rodgers in their division, getting to the quarterback is critical.

#3. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos play a 3-4 defense and have a defensive mind with Sean Payton calling the shots. This team is young and could get a star with Kenneth Grant Jr. on their defensive line. They traded for defensive end John Franklin-Myers during the most recent offseason but D.J. Jones is struggling to make a significant impact at the nose tackle spot.

This Broncos team is going to be a strong defensive team with their weapons and adding Grant would help improve it even more.

#4. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers have a lot of players that are making serious money on their contracts so filling needs through the draft will certainly be a great help. Their defensive line needs some help as right now they have Nick Bosa at defensive end but no one has taken the reigns in the middle of the defensive line.

Grant would certainly get a boost playing with one of the best defensive players in the sport and could help the 49ers get right back into the playoffs.

#5. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have struggled up front to be a big body that can slow down the opposing offense. The Texans run a 4-3 defense, meaning they need four defensive linemen and with the edge rushers of Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, they need to sure up the defensive tackle spot. Drafting Kenneth Grant Jr. would certainly help that and make it more difficult for teams to run through the A-gaps.
