
Kenneth Grant is a defensive tackle who plied his trade with the Michigan Wolverines from 2022 to 2024. Kenneth Grant began his high school football career at Merrillville High School, where he played both as the defensive and offensive lineman. He had a spectacular high school career, leading Merrillville to three consecutive state championships. Grant was credited with 38 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 12 quarterback hurries during his senior year. He was a consensus three-star recruit and was ranked the 441st overall player nationally in the 2022 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-4, 339-pound Merrillville native chose to sign with the University of Michigan over offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Illinois, LSU, Nebraska, Ohio State, Purdue, and Wisconsin, among others (via 247Sports). In his freshman season, Grant saw action in all 14 games along the defensive line and recorded eight tackles. The following year, Grant helped Michigan win the National Championship. Grant appeared in all 15 games on the defensive line and registered 29 tackles with five for loss, including six quarterback hurries and five pass breakups. Following his junior campaign, Grant announced himself for the 2025 NFL Draft in December 2024.
