The Kent State Golden Flashes are heading to Beaver Stadium on Saturday afternoon in nonconference action to take on the 10th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions. This game is going to be exciting but not expected to be a close one on the scoreboard.

The Golden Flashes (0-3) are on a three-game losing streak and are coming off Saturday's massive 71-0 road loss against the Tennessee Volunteers. Quarterback Devin Kargman struggled, going just 9-of-15 for 58 yards.

The Nittany Lions (3-0) are on a three-game winning streak to start the season and are coming off a 34-27 home win over the Bowling Green Falcons on Sept. 7. Quarterback Drew Allar played decently as he went 13-of-20 for 204 yards with a pair of touchdown passes and an interception.

Kent State vs. Penn State prediction

This number seems to be a bit of an overreaction to what we saw last week for the Kent State defense. However, even after allowing 71 points to Tennessee, Kent State is giving up 49.7 points per game, which is essentially the spread for this game.

Penn State is one of the best teams in the nation but Kent State is going to be able to score some points. All in all, go with the Kent State Golden Flashes to cover the spread on the road.
