Kentucky's Brock Vandagriff had a very bad time facing South Carolina in Week 2 of college football. The South Carolina Gamecocks won the game 31-6, and Vandagriff was barely able to put together 30 passing yards.

He also gave up the ball once. In Week 3, he faces an even more difficult task, facing the No. 1 school in the nation and his former team, the Georgia Bulldogs.

The junior redshirt spent three years at Athens under Kirby Smart. In that time, he played in 13 games and recorded 165 passing yards for the Bulldogs.

Upon understanding that Carson Beck would return for the 2024 season, Brock Vandagriff decided to transfer to Kentucky. Smart had nothing but kind words about his decision:

"It was very lighthearted. He understood and had already told us that if Carson was coming back, he was probably going to play somewhere else. He was very professional about it. He was very emotional because he loves Georgia. He graduated from Georgia, he won two national championships at Georgia. He made Georgia better, he left it better than he found.”

Despite the flimsy performance in Week 2, Mark Stoops is expected to stick with him for the time being. Truth be told, the disaster against South Carolina last week was a team-wide mistake.

Nonetheless, he faces a tall task in Week 3's trip to Athens, Georgia, with the Bulldogs being 24-point favorites ahead of the game.

How to watch Kentucky vs. Georgia in Week 3?

The game between Kentucky and Georgia will air on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET. The announcing crew will be comprised of play-by-play commentator Sean McDonough, former Alabama quarterback and analyst Greg McElroy and sideline reporter Molly McGrath.

ABC is available for streaming through Hulu + Live TV, Sling and FuboTV. ABC's games are also available on ESPN's streaming platform, ESPN+. For the time being, all ABC content has been pulled from DirecTV platforms due to contract negotiations stalling with the former's parent company, Disney.
