Keeley received a five-star rating from 247Sports, Rivals, and On3 for his remarkable high school career. 247Sports ranked him as the second-best player in Florida and On3 placed him as the No. 11 player in the nation. He committed to Alabama over Florida, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. Keeley redshirted the 2023 season and in 2024, he made his collegiate debut against Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, where he started as an outside linebacker and eventually shifted to the defensive line.

Keeley was the No. 5 on PrepStar's Top 150 Dream Team and was ranked third on SI99 rankings among the top high school seniors. As a junior, Keeley registered 65 tackles, 35 tackles for a loss, 16.5 sacks, and 22 hurries in 13 games. He was considered the third-ranked prospect in the country by On3 and was ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect by 247Sports.
