Kirby Smart and t͏he͏ ͏Geo͏rgia Bulldog͏s have had another im͏pressive s͏eason, proving͏ their c͏onsistency as one͏ of college football's top programs. Just days after wrapping up his season, Smart was spotted courtside at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia. He attended a thrilling basketball matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and the sixth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats.
With his wife, Mary Beth, and son, Andrew, by his side, Smart cheered on Georgia as they pulled off a stunning 82-69 upset victory. Asa Newell was the game's star, leading the unranked Bulldogs to an exciting win that left fans ecstatic.
While the game’s result grabbed headlines, fans couldn’t stop discussing Smart’s appearance with his son, Andrew. Social media buzzed with humorous comments, speculating what Kirby might have been up to.
“Lil buddy checking pops’ incoming texts... who’s next!,” one fan said.
“Kid can throw some ⛽️💨. We played his travel ball team in East Cobb a few years ago. He’s a baller,” another fan added.
Andrew, who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the game, also became the subject of lighthearted praise:
“Andrew is always having fun ❤️,” one fan remarked.
“Boy look just like his daddy,” a fan wrote.
Kirby’s courtside presence came during challenging times for him, as he recently lost his father, Sonny Smart. Fans appreciate this lighter, more relatable side of their football coach.
