Kurtis Rourke is a Canadian-American college football player for the Indiana Hoosiers, as of 2024. Prior to the Hoosiers, he was a starting quarterback for the Ohio Bobcats football team. Kurtis Rourke redshirted his freshman season in 2019 and had to manage time with Armani Rogers in 2020 and 2021.
Kurtis was named MAC student-athlete of the week, in October 2021 and September 2023. As a starting quarterback in the 2022 season, Rourke was announced as the MAC East offensive player of the week thrice. He recorded 308 yards and four touchdowns against Florida Atlantic, 537 yards against Fordham, and 317 yards and five touchdown passes against Buffalo in week one, week four, and week ten, respectively.
Before entering the 2023 season, Kurtis was enlisted in the watch lists for the Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Walter Camp Award, Manning Award, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. Rourke concluded the regular season as second-team all-MAC. Kurtis made 11 starts for the Bobcats recording 2,207 passing yards on 307 passes with 195 completions. He also rushed for 219 yards on 67 attempts with four touchdowns, becoming the second-leading passer in Ohio history. Kurtis entered the transfer portal and joined the Indiana Hoosiers in 2023.
