
Lane Kiffin is a college football coach, appointed by the Ole Miss Rebels in 2020. Kiffin has over 25 years of coaching experience and the 2024 season will be his fourth season at the University of Mississippi. Kiffin guided the Rebels to bowl games every season and won New Year's Six twice. Throughout his collegiate coaching career, Kiffin has compiled a 95-49 record and a 34-15 record with the Rebels, as of the 2023 season. He is known for crafting offensive strategies and has transformed Ole Miss into national and SEC contenders. Kiffin’s 2023 season was one of the best seasons in Ole Miss history in terms of wins, he concluded the season with an 11-2 overall record and captured the Peach Bowl by defeating Penn State with a margin of 38-25. Kiffin became the second coach in Ole Miss history after the legendary coach John Vaught, to win two 10-win regular seasons.
Lane Kiffin began his head coaching career in the NFL. During the 2007 season for the Oakland Raiders, he became the youngest head coach in NFL modern history. Before that, he served as the head coach of Tennessee at the collegiate level. During those three years, his team’s offensive rankings improved. Kiffin became the USC head coach in 2010 and took the Trojans to a 28-15 record over three seasons. He later joined Florida Atlantic University in 2017. Kiffin was able to revamp the program to glory and went on to win two conference titles during his tenure before moving to Ole Miss.
