Lane Kiffin is the head coach for the Ole Miss Rebels football team. Kiffin began as a student assistant for Fresno State Bulldogs in 1997. Upon graduating from Fresno State University, he was a graduate assistant at Colorado State before moving to Jacksonville in 2000 and became a scout for the Jaguars. Kiffin received his first significant success when he was appointed as the tight ends assistant at USC in 2001. During the 2005 season, he worked as the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans. Kiffin signed with the NFL team Oakland Raiders in 2007 and became the youngest head coach in modern NFL history. Kiffin returned to collegiate coaching in 2009 and managed teams such as FAU, USC, and Tennessee and eventually committed to the Ole Miss Rebels in 2020.
