The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders welcomed the Liberty Flames in Week 11 of the 2024 college football season. Saturday's game started at 1 p.m. ET from the Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The Blue Raiders started Nicholas Vattiato as their quarterback, while Kaidon Salter led the offense for Liberty.

The hosts opened the scoring when Vattiato picked out Hayes Sutton with a 6-yard touchdown. Zeke Rankin converted the extra point for the Blue Raiders.
However, Liberty responded well, and Salter got them back on level terms by rushing for a 41-yard touchdown. Colin Karhu converted the extra point.
The Flames took the lead in the second quarter when Quinton Cooley rushed for a 4-yard touchdown. Karhu converted the extra point. Liberty extended their lead when Julian Gray rushed for a 41-yard touchdown. Karhu converted the extra point.
The Flames grew their advantage even further when Salter threw a 4-yard TD pass to Jacob Jenkins. Karhu converted the extra point, and Liberty led 27-7 at halftime.
Both teams struggled in the third quarter, but the Flames opened the scoring after the break with a 35-yard field goal from Karhu.
After failing to score for two quarters, Middle Tennessee eventually got back on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter when Vattiato connected with Terry Wilkins on a 17-yard touchdown pass. Rankin added the extra point.
However, Liberty put the game beyond the Blue Raiders when Salter picked out Julian Gray with a 34-yard TD.
Rankin made a 48-yard field goal for Middle Tennessee with 4:47 remaining in the game, but it was Liberty who won the game 37-17.
